The
Isbell team attended the National
Cargo Security Council's conference in Las Vegas, NV. Our own
Tim Holleyman participated in one of the speakers panels, discussing intelligence
as it relates to protecting cargo. Lt. Col. Oliver North, USMC,
Ret. delivered the key note address (see picture above left). Other
notable speakers included Kathleen Neal from A O Smith Corporation and
Jim Kniestedt from TFM. The team made lots of great contacts and
a couple of new friends. We all brought our families, making it
a special trip combining hard work with fun. |

At
the invitation of Hon. Silvestre Reyes, Member of Congress, IGI recently
participated in a homeland security conference. The conference,
titled 'Border Security: The New Realities', brought together representatives
from government, industry, law enforcement and the academic community
to discuss security issues unique to border communities. Government
attendees included elected officials from the local, state and national
levels, and from both Mexico and the United States. The well-attended
conference was the first of its kind and was hosted at the University
of Texas at El Paso. |
