Seminar Schedule Announced!

We have just released the updated schedule for our Supply Chain Security seminars.  Our next host cities include Lakeland, Florida, Ashland, Ohio, and Knoxville, Tennessee.  Each seminar features expert speakers from government and industry, the most current information, and fabulous networking opportunities.  Topics covered include C-TPAT, FAST, CSI, and how to perform vulnerability assessments on your entire operation.  Based on client requests we have also added a full day of hands-on workshops! One recent participant said "I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend...I highly recommend it."  Visit our Supply Chain Security site for more information or to sign up!

Thank You ASSE!

Our thanks go out to the El Paso Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.  At their invitation our Director of Information Security and Services, Andrew Neal, delivered a presentation at their monthly lunch meeting.  The presentation was titled "Information Security for a Safer Workplace and Community", and was well received by those attending.  IGI is proud to make its professional staff available to speak for community groups and professional organizations.  Please contact us if you would like to schedule one of our speakers.

IGI team attends National Cargo Security Council conference in Las Vegas

The Isbell team attended the National Cargo Security Council's conference in Las Vegas, NV.  Our own Tim Holleyman participated in one of the speakers panels, discussing intelligence as it relates to protecting cargo.  Lt. Col. Oliver North, USMC, Ret. delivered the key note address (see picture above left).  Other notable speakers included Kathleen Neal from A O Smith Corporation and Jim Kniestedt from TFM.  The team made lots of great contacts and a couple of new friends.  We all brought our families, making it a special trip combining hard work with fun.

As part of our committment to providing our clients with the best available service, information and resources, we have been continuing with the development of our site.  Hosted using the same 'bomb-proof' server technology we provide to our clients, our site is intended to be an ever-expanding resource.  We will continue to add to the content, striving to colect the latest information, practices and opinions in the areas of security, safety, environmental and compliance services.
At the invitation of Hon. Silvestre Reyes, Member of Congress, IGI recently participated in a homeland security conference.  The conference, titled 'Border Security: The New Realities', brought together representatives from government, industry, law enforcement and the academic community to discuss security issues unique to border communities.  Government attendees included elected officials from the local, state and national levels, and from both Mexico and the United States.  The well-attended conference was the first of its kind and was hosted at the University of Texas at El Paso.
